The Jasper Electronics Rack Panel System (RPS) series is available in a wide range of configurations with options to fit nearly any industrial, commercial, or military application. These units are designed to operate in individual output, redundant, and/or current share mode (N+1, N2), using our “Hot Swap” power supply modules. In redundant mode, it is not necessary to disconnect the input power source prior to installing or when removing a single module from a multiple module system, provided that the total output load demand on the remaining operational modules does not exceed their total output capacity.

Typical Input Power Connection Options
- Single rear panel mounted terminal block (all models).
- Dual rear panel mounted terminal blocks (6 and 8 bay models only). User may determine now many bays to be powered by each input (all dual input versions).
- Single input or Dual input studs. Rear panel, typically for use in high input current applications.
- Single input or Dual input IEC type connectors for detachable cord connections. Rear panel, typically for low current, AC applications only.
- Single input or Dual input IEC type connectors for detachable cord connections. User accessible on the front panel, typically for low current, AC applications only. Uses 1 bay.
- Individual IEC type connectors for detachable cord connections. User accessible on the front of the installed power supply. AC applications only.
- Many more options are available – please consult factory for details.
Typical Output Power Connection Options
- Rear panel mounted terminal blocks. Single or multiple, dependent on total output power level selected.
- Rear panel mounted studs. Single or multiple, 2 or 4 studs/output.
- Many more options are available – please consult factory for details.
Output Sharing Options
- Single output – all power module outputs common (shared);
- Multiple outputs – individual connections for each power module output (no sharing);
- Multiple outputs – user determined combinations of shared outputs.
Signal Connection Options
- Rear panel mounted, 9- or 15-position subminiature “D” receptacle Amp type connector.
- 1 per rack
- 1 per output
Connector functions selected by the user from those available on the power supply module selected. Typically they are: power fail, DC-OK, remote enable and/or remote sense.
- Rear panel mounted, user specified connector.
- Many more options are available – please consult factory for details.
Blank Panels Options
- For applications not requiring the use of all available bays in a rack, the user may specify in which bays the factory shall install a blank panel. Panels may also be ordered separately for user installation.
